About Me

Greetings, I’m Kae’Driona Heath—an Honors Communication Media Student from the Illustrious Alabama A&M University and an emerging multimedia journalist passionate about storytelling that informs, connects, and elevates underrepresented voices.

My interest in media began with a love for visual storytelling and has grown into a commitment to impactful journalism. Through hands-on experience as a news reporter intern with WJAB-TV and as a participant in the Disney College Program HBCU Cohort, I’ve developed strong skills in reporting, video editing, content creation, and on-camera storytelling.

I possess technical proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, as well as professional camera equipment, including Canon and JVC systems. On campus, I’ve served in leadership roles, including President of the Stomp and Shake Team and Historian of the Honors Program, while remaining actively involved in organizations focused on service, advocacy, and professional development.

I am also the founder of Kaptured by Kae, a creative brand specializing in photography and video production, where I merge journalistic storytelling with visual creativity.

As I transition into the professional media industry, I am eager to contribute to newsrooms, production teams, and creative spaces that value purpose, authenticity, and cultural impact. I welcome opportunities to collaborate, create, and tell stories that matter.
