Cappuccino Tutorial
☕✨ "I had the sweetest time creating this cappuccino tutorial—where artistry meets espresso! From the rich crema to the perfect froth, every step was a latte fun to film and edit. Just like a great cup of coffee, storytelling through video is all about balance, precision, and a little bit of magic. ☕🎥💫
House Party Trailer🏠🎉
For our Advanced TV Production project, my classmates and I tested our creative skills by recreating the House Party movie trailer! From directing to acting to editing, we brought this classic film's energy, comedy, and iconic vibes to life. This project was a blast to produce, and it reminded me why I love storytelling through video—every scene, every cut, and every detail matters. 🎥🔥
"Why Did I Get Married?” Dinner Scene 🍽️
In my Advanced TV Production course, my group and I recreated the iconic and emotionally charged dinner scene from Why Did I Get Married? This project challenged us to focus on dramatic timing, character delivery, and camera angles that captured the intensity of the moment. I took on multiple roles including directing and acting, and it reminded me how powerful storytelling can be when emotion and technique work hand in hand. This scene pushed our team to dig deep and really feel every line.
“Get Out” Running Scene 🏃♂️
For my Non-linear Editing class, I recreated the suspenseful running scene from Get Out—a moment that blends horror, mystery, and tension in just a few seconds. I focused on pacing, music, and precise cuts to build that eerie, edge-of-your-seat feeling. Editing this scene reminded me how much impact sound and timing have in shaping a viewer’s emotions. It was a thrilling challenge to match the original energy while adding our own touch.
Commercial Recreation: AT&T Anniversary Spot 📱🎬
For my Digital Broadcasting course, I directed a 30-second commercial recreation inspired by an AT&T advertisement. Our team reimagined a storyline in which a husband forgets his wedding anniversary but uses mobile connectivity—talk, text, and web access—to quickly make dinner reservations and save the moment. This project challenged me to think strategically about pacing, visual clarity, and storytelling within a tight time limit while maintaining brand tone and comedic timing.
Gel Lighting Project: Mood & Storytelling Through Light 💡🎭
This project focused on mastering gel lighting techniques to support emotional storytelling. Given a scripted scene of two students having a reflective conversation about life and school, I used colored gels to create mood, depth, and atmosphere that aligned with the scene’s tone. This experience deepened my understanding of how lighting choices influence emotion, character dynamics, and overall visual impact in production.
